The CNC Machinist will programme, set and operate a variety of 3 axis CNC Machines (Hurco and HAAS) for component and fixturing manufacture and assembly.
As part of a small in-house team, the CNC Machinist will play an equal part supporting production with modified or bespoke machined components made from a variety of materials from nylon through to stainless steel, as well as working on longer term continuous improvement projects that require machined content (i.e. tooling, fixturing etc).
Reporting into the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the CNC Machinist will work cross functionally with Production Leadership, Planning and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure production requirements for short turn-around components are met.
