Probe Technical are looking to recruit a temporary 12-week contract for a Panel Wirer to be based at a business in Worcester. They are a lovely small firm which are extremely busy and due to annual leave need some cover. You will be responsible for ensuring the precise installation of electrical wiring and associated materials to schematic and engineering drawings.
The package details for the role of Panel Wirer include the below and further at interview:
Hourly rate of £17 p/h
Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm

There is overtime on offer but paid at the normal rate
Minimum 12 week contract
You must have a minimum 3-year previous experience building & wiring panels. Good numeracy and literacy skills. BS7671 18th edition desirable.
Other key duties and experience for the Panel Wirer role involve:
Perform panel layout, assemble components into panel.
Wiring panels.
Read, interpret and work from schematic / engineering drawings / instructions from engineers
Site based installations and Panel modifications
Undertaking all relevant tasks along with general housekeeping duties.
Occasional site visits for trouble shooting, repairs or installation.
Machine wiring experience advantageous

RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct timely product testing at various stages, including in-process, final analysis, and specifications.
Prepare pre-shipment samples and ensure all documentation is accurate.
Perform testing on incoming materials
Maintain and execute test equipment calibration procedures as per schedule.
Issue precise process adjustment instructions to the production team.

Role Overview
Due to continued growth, the business is looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join their established team on a full-time permanent basis. This is an important position within the R&D team, and you will be key in driving the development of new products from initial design, through to production and post-production maintenance.
Degree qualified in electronics or similar engineering subject.
5+ years’ commercial experience in electronic design, ideally within audio electronics.
The Electronics Engineer will ideally have audio experience working with ADC/DAC (Analogue/Digital Converters) and associated components, Op-amps etc.
High speed digital electronics experience, working with microcontrollers, DSPs etc.
PCB layout and design experience.
A guitar or bass player of any experience level is preferred but isn’t essential.
Electronics Engineer Key Responsibilities

Responsible for all research and full development, through full life cycle, of assigned projects.
Contributing towards new innovative design ideas to drive the company technology forward.
