The company has over a 50-year proud history of providing state of the art 3D CAD designed and Computer Aided Manufactured bespoke tooling and work-holding solutions to a variety of major manufacturing and OEM customers across market sectors such as Automotive, Aerospace, Off Highway Vehicles, White Goods and Food Processing.

Project Manager Duties
The main purpose of the position is to work in liaison with key accounts and customers to ensure projects are completed on time and to cost, with end deliverables that meet customers’ expectations.
Working with the organisations own internal Design, Operations, and Sales Teams to ensure projects gateways are met within agreed timescales and profitability can always be achieved.
Plan projects and programmes with supplier and materials timeline considerations and potential delays or additional costs factored in.
Deal with Design Change or Cost Down exercises quickly and effectively to ensure minimal delay
Read and understand customer and internal CAD Drawings and Designs to ensure the right specification and builds are always achieved.
Work with and support internal Quality Management Systems to ensure all projects meet with the company’s own requirements and high standards.
Utilising project software and tools to compile data and reports for internal and external update meetings.
Manage multiple projects with lead times that can vary between 12 – 20 weeks on average
Be the main point of contact for the customer
Represent the company at Customer and Off-Site Visits and Meetings
Project Manager Requirements
5 Years’ experience in a Project / Customer Liaison position with responsibility for the delivery of programmes.
HND / Degree in an Engineering discipline or Time Served Apprenticeship
A good working understanding of Tooling, Jigs & Fixtures and Automation
Strong communication and presentation skills / MS Project Office
Good Commercial Acumen
Good awareness of NPD and Manufacturing Methods
Good appreciation of 3D CAD Software Packages
Good appreciation of Quality, ISO and QMS
Good exposure to working directly with end customers (Design / Build Changes, Cost Downs, Materials)
