Duties of a Contract Instrumentation Technician
As a Contract Instrumentation Technician, you will be required to support our team of instrumentation technicians who calibrate and maintain our wide range of instrumentation equipment that is utilised in the monitoring of pressure, flow, temperature and Ph values.
The role is hands on but will require you to have experience of supporting junior technicians, maintaining equipment registers and planning projects from conception to final hand over.
Requirements of a Contract Instrumentation Technician
Ideally you will have gained your Instrumentation experience of supporting instruments within a heavy engineering or process environment and must have some experience of supporting staff.
You ideally you will be apprentice trained, however must qualified to a City & Guilds Part C / NVQ 3 standard within either pure Instrumentation or E&I disciplines.
This Role is Commutable From: Blackheath, Dudley, Smethwick, Wednesbury, West Bromwich & Oldbury
We are seeking to recruit a number of multi skilled maintenance contractors to support our plant with a key project.
You will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance tasks to our wide range of production machinery that will require you to hold good multi skilled abilities.
linked to your multi skilled abilities you must also hold some exposure to supporting Plc controls and robotic applications.
Ideally you will be apprentice trained but must hold formal qualifications electrically or mechanically to a City & Guilds or NVQ standard, having gained your maintenance experience within a fast moving manufacturing or production environment.
*Please note that as this project falls inside IR35, we will have to pay you via a FCSA accredited Umbrella.
