This NPI Project Manager role is perfect for a hands-on self-starter who would like to work as part of a driven and supportive team. As NPI Project Manager the role will be primarily focused upon helping to introduce new products using clients in-house new product introduction methodology.
The role would ideally suit a NPI Project Manager who enjoys working across the full product lifecycle, leading multidisciplinary teams from product concept through to customer delivery, organising and leading periodic stage gate reviews.
NPI Project Manager Person Specification
You will be Degree qualified (or equivalent) with 5 years project management experience in manufacturing environments
Have proven experience of successfully managing the introduction of new product projects
Project management qualifications would be advantageous
The ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams
A good planner, action seeking, - delivery of results, finisher, well organised, methodical, and assertive
A hands-on approach to resolving problems
Have a practiced understanding of manufacturing organisational structure and methodologies, used within manufacturing businesses
Managing new product introductions from product concept through to launch
Leading a cross-functional team including product design, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, sales, marketing and finance
Ensuring projects keep to fiscal timing, product specification and other metrics
Organising and presenting at Stage Gate meetings
Identifying and resolving project roadblocks
Presenting information at all levels
Managing the product improvement system, the New Product Introduction process and the product portfolio – introduction and obsolescence

This is an opportunity for an experienced Injection Moulding Quality Technician to join an ever-expanding business. They have a history that goes back many, many years and they now have multiple sites, with workloads increasing across all of them
Reporting to the Quality & Compliance Manager, the Quality Technician will take responsibility for all quality issues pertaining to the designated Customer base by providing the working specifications, equipment, and other information necessary to enable the Operational Team Leaders, Operators and Quality Facilitators to efficiently control the manufacturing product quality.
The Quality Technician will relentlessly drive through continuous improvement, in all activities. To carry out GMP audits, internal audits, product testing, complaints management, document control and other relevant tasks to support the upkeep of the business quality management systems.

Reporting to the Toolroom team Leader, the Moulding Technician will be responsible for the repairing and maintenance of injection mould tools, manufacturing of spare parts for tooling or other equipment, designing and building of prototype tooling. You will also design and manufacture other fabrications to support the injection moulding department and other departments.
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Fitter for a company within the Heavy Engineering Industry that are extremely unique.
The company operate a day shift with working hours 7am – 3.30pm

Maintenance Fitter duties will include but not limited to:
The diagnosis, location, and rectification of all mechanical faults on site, including pneumatic, hydraulic systems
Responding to emergency situations in a timely and effective manner
Plan out work and display initiative and common sense
Adhere to current Safe Systems of Work, lock off and permit to work procedures
Carry out all tasks in accordance with company Quality systems, hygiene standards and safe working practices
As a Maintenance Fitter, the company will require you to have an NVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or Apprentice trained. They will also look at talking too Maintenance Engineers or Mechanical Fitters for this role.
The role is commutable from Derby, Nottingham, Mansfield and Chesterfield.
