Day-to-day tasks relating to Environmental Health and Safety.
Promote an environmental, health and safety awareness / culture to fully achieve compliance with legalization and the strategic direction of the company,
Ensure the MME’s rules, policies and procedures are compliant with current Environmental, H&S legislation,
Ensure that an Environmental Management System is established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with ISO 14001.
Liaise with the Company’s insurers regarding any personal injury claims and provide all required data to them regarding each claim.
Ensure COSHH Data Sheets and risk assessments are in place and kept up to date.
Develop and implement a Health & Safety system, to a framework aligned to ISO45001
Environmental Health & Safety Officer Requirements:
Proven experience in Environmental, Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 5 GCSE’S (or equivalent) at Grade C and above to include Maths and English.
IOSH / NEBOSH Qualification (General, Environmental and Fire).
Knowledge and experience of implementing, auditing and maintaining a QMS ISO 14001 system preferred.
