We are seeking to recruit a proven Maintenance Electrician to join our plant Maintenance and Production team to support our operation within the Midlands region. As a Maintenance Electrician you will be required to undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks throughout our facility and improve and maintain plant reliability.
You must be qualified Electrically i.e. NVQ/ Apprenticeship / City & Guilds and hold experience as an Electrician/ Engineer, we would be interested in talking to Maintenance Engineers as well.
You must be capable of programming Inverter Motor Controls, and to fault find on hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
You must also have some understanding of Siemens S5 and S7 PLC equipment & programming skills.
As well as an Electrical Maintenance ability having gained your experience of supporting plant within a heavy engineering environment such as chemical processing, oil refineries, quarrying, recycling, power generation, steel works or within a heavy plant overhaul support organisation.
Some duties of a Maintenance Electrician may include:
Essential planned maintenance and necessary repairs to keep the factory in good working order.
Provide electrical maintenance cover through effective and efficient response to plant breakdowns throughout the factory.
Learning necessary skills to be able to operate all areas of plant to ensure correct operation following maintenance work.
Taking a leading role in on-going process improvement throughout the factory developing new ideas and better solutions.

Holiday and a shift pattern of 5 on, 5 off, 4 on 4 off, 5 on, 5 offs, between 06:00 – 18:00hrs & 18:00 – 06:00 rotating days and nights.
