DUTIES OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICES MANAGER
- Champion improvement activities
- Regular contact with customers and agents, covering all aspects of customer service
- Lead and manage the Customer Service Department
- Negotiate and deal with major International Customers, freight companies, Government agencies and auditors
- Ensure all legal duties relating to supply and transport of dangerous goods, drug, and chemical weapons
- Travel to visit customers, agents and exhibitions when required
- Monitor customer order patterns
REQUIREMENT OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICES MANAGER
- You will have a strong understanding of the exportation of goods across borders, duty, and incoterms in the post-BREXIT age
- A level 5 (or higher) qualification in Business related discipline
- IATA and IMDG certified
- DBS checked
- Significant experience in a Customer Services Management role
- Must have shipping export knowledge, and highly preferable for you to have experience with dangerous goods
- Microsoft proficient
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills

Technical Director Duties:
- Contribute as a board director to the development and implementation of the company’s corporate strategy
- Work alongside CTO to maintain and develop relationships with suppliers
- Direct all Technical, Engineering and Service staff
- Manage and lead staff
- Oversee working practices and ensure suitable staff are recruited
- Allocate responsibilities
- Attend and present at Board meetings
- Liaising with CTO keep all products and processes under review and suggest the introduction of new technology as appropriate to ensure continuous improvement and to identify potential new products and processed for customers.

Duties of the Melting Operative
- Produce powder to production schedules efficiently.
- Prepare charges for the induction furnace.
- Monitors consumable stock levels including raw materials, refractory materials and spares.
- Prepare induction furnace and atomising systems for molten metal processing.
- Operate the induction furnace to melt raw materials.
- Operate atomising systems and associated equipment.
- Prepare powder for annealing.
- Load /Unload and operate vacuum annealing furnace.
- Operate ancillary powder processing equipment including sieves, blender, vacuum dryer, centrifuge & classifying mill.
- The full testing powder and melt samples. (Particle Size Distribution, Apparent Density, Flow and chemical analysis.
- Data entry onto database and SPC system.
- Raw material bookings using SAP
- Carry of preventative maintenance on equipment and processes.
- Powder mixing/blending.
- First level diagnostics and rectification of melting, atomising, testing & powder processing related issues.
Requirements of the Melting Operative
- Experience working with molten metal and metal powders
- Experience of maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Experience testing powders.
- Happy and flexible to work shifts
- Trained in Manual Handling, slinging and lifting trained would be helpful
- Full fork lift licence (Reach and Counterbalance would be beneficial

DUTIES OF THE QUALITY ENGINEER
- Monitor customer quality concerns
- Identify and close out repetitive concerns
- Create action plans to improve performance.
- Discuss / negotiate specific concern boundary
- Analyses customer returns, concerns and defects found in the production.
- Perform Capability Studies and Parts and Process Audits.
- PPAP preparation – documentation and presentation.
- Perform Gage Studies (Gage R&R, Bias, Linearity and Stability)
- Ensure that continuous improvement is made in all production MEQ quality deliverables
- Ensure that customer and internally identified quality issues are resolved using problem solving methods e.g. 8D Report,
- Ensure that all quality activities are performed according to BOS, IATF 16949, and ISO 9000, ISO 14001 etc.
- Support the continuous improvements
- Identify and use the appropriate statistical tools.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE QUALITY ENGINEER
- Relevant experience within Quality Engineering
- A high standard of education is required
- You will have gained your experience from within a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Good training in Quality disciplines such as PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and SPC
- Must hold a driving licence
