DUTIES OF MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
- Provide support for Commercial, Technical and Production functions
- Produce shop floor documentation for new or modified jobs
- CNC Programming
- Prove out CNC programs
- Design and produce part and tooling models using Delcam Powershape CAD package
- Provide assistance with CNC Programs
- Identification for areas of improvements to cycle times and cost reductions
REQUIREMENTS OF MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
- It would be highly beneficial for you to have experience of Powermill and Powershape
- All CNC experience is considered
- All controls experience will be considered, though it would be advantageous for you to have knowledge of FANUC / MAZATOL
- To have completed an Apprenticeship
- 3,4 & 5 axis milling machines
- CMM Knowledge would be helpful though not essential
- PC-DIMIS programming experience would be the cherry on the cake, but again, not essential
- To be able to work from engineering drawings
