Key Qualifications and Experience Required
The Manufacturing Test Engineer will be time served experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing and production environment, educated to degree level (ideally) in mechanical engineering, electronics, controls or closely related subject matter.
Experience in electronics and software / hardware design and manufacturing systems design.
Strong track record in continuous improvement, project management, fault rectification and production support roles
Be able to evidence an aptitude for detail, process control and documentation.
Experience interacting with and leading cross functional improvement groups on the shop floor.
Demonstrate a flexible, inclusive and pro-active approach to identifying and resolving problems.
About You
The Manufacturing Test Engineer will be a process led, proactive problem solver, data led and analytical in nature.
Having good background skills in project, task and prioritisation management and communication you will be able to demonstrate experience in electronics and testing at a practical level, preferably in a similar environment or industry. An ability to work and resolve issues within a high-pressure production environment, quickly and accurately is a must.

Test Definition - Using product and process knowledge to define & develop testing solutions, including hardware / software and process application.
Reporting and Data – Defining and analysing data capture and information, interpreting results and driving improvement.
Process Support – Developing and documenting test processes and providing support to operations teams. Manage test process adherence and training.
