The Sales and Purchasing Co-ordinator role is a really varied, exciting position, it’s a mix of Sales, Purchasing, Material Management and potentially Production Planning!
Your key duties would be:
- Handling of incoming Sales calls / customer enquiries regarding products, raise and progress orders, right through to their delivery.
- To liaise with other departments to ensure timely and correct dispatch and deliveries.

Design Engineer Role Function
The Design Engineer will create new products and take responsibility from inception to final design within an agreed timeline.
To meet customer and sales expectations through customizing existing products and components to their new product requirements within short deadlines.
Candidate Specification
- A proven Design Engineer, who is self-motivated and self-managing, with the ability to work autonomously
- At least five years’ experience in a product development role with plastic and rubber mouldings

Operations Manage Role
This is a hands-on Operations Manager role, managing the daily operational aspects of the business, primarily the fulfilment of customer requirements through labour planning, assembly, warehousing and delivery, with effective management of resources to budgeted costs and productivity/efficiency levels, whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
Candidate Specification
- The Operations Manager will have experience working in a fast-moving, high variety/ low volume, labour intense manual assembly environment. This is ‘essential’ – this role wouldn’t suit someone from a precision engineering background
- Highly motivated, problem solver with good people management skills, and the ability to manage, motivate and mentor, improving efficiency throughout the operations team
- Proven ability to manage change and contribute effectively to developing the future organization – this would be gradual and not drastic change
- Lean Manufacturing – the ability to identify opportunities and implement lean techniques, although you don’t have to be an expert in this area
- Experience of managing Quality ISO9001, Environmental ISO14001 systems and experience of operating MRP systems
