I am looking to recruit a full time and permanent Maintenance Supervisor to join an experienced and dedicated Engineering Team near Banbury on days Monday – Friday. The package details for the role of Maintenance Supervisor include:
Salary up to £58,000 depending on experience.
40 hours per week, Monday – Friday days

Annual Salary Reviews – an annual pay review is conducted every January.
Holiday – 23 days plus bank holidays, rising to 25 plus bank holidays after 5 years’ service.
This role is to support the site Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating, co-ordinating, and assessing all shift Engineering work tasks to ensure that maximum value. They will supervise the Engineering team and will also provide relief legal duty holder cover for the Engineering Manager.

Role Overview
Reporting to the Shipping Manager, the Import / Export Co-ordinator will assist in the tracking and documentation support for consignments within the Export department to the EU and the ROW. Required to keep track of orders as they go through the logistics process (from warehouse through to delivery) and help ensure that they are on track to customer commitment dates.

Import / Export Co-ordinator Key Responsibilities
Obtain transport quotations and options to meet client or event delivery schedule – courier, road, air and sea freight.
Work closely with freight forwarders and couriers to schedule and monitor shipments for all export / import consignments.
Prepare and review shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, EUR1, carnets etc.
A good knowledge of letters of credit.
Track and report shipment status, providing timely updates to relevant departments to ensure smooth delivery and ensuring shipments arrive on time.
Calculate load plans for container shipments and for full trailer shipments.
Good knowledge of import procedures, both Home Use and IPR.
Handle inquiries and concerns related to shipping and provide solutions promptly.
To stay updated on changes in import / export regulations.
Be aware of and follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures including feeding back any H&S information to management also be aware of and demonstrate the company values and behaviours.

Engineering & Design Lead Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)
Technical
Provide technical direction to the team, producing sound engineering solutions to engineering problems, backed up with design analysis where appropriate.
Develop and implement innovative solutions to problems incorporating the latest materials, manufacturing processes and technology to drive the product range forward.
Manage product developments, ensuring changes are controlled and implemented across the product range to maintain a standard equipment offering
Take overall design responsibility for projects assigned to the team and manage them from project launch to completion ensuring all project deliverables are met.
Ensure all required design standards and legislation are met and that supporting documentation is produced and approved.
Take responsibility for equipment quality, resolving any design problems found during manufacturing or commissioning.
Coordinate technical support to sales to help produce accurate project proposals and to manage project risk.
Team Management
Direct day-to-day management of team members.
Recruitment and training plans for direct reports as well as mentoring of junior engineers.
Management of project cost, schedule and quality.
Review and provide feedback on prospects incl schedule, design hours and project risk.
Deputise for the Engineering Manager or other Lead Sector Engineers when needed.
Drive and be a role model for the company values & behaviours.

Mechanical Development Engineer Candidate Requirements
Mechanical Engineering Degree or similar would be ideal. HNC /HND will be considered, along with the right experience.
3D design proficiency. Solidworks is preferred, but other 3D experience will be considered.
Strong product development experience.
Design for Manufacture.
Problem-solving abilities are essential.
Drafting experience.
A level of calculations experience.
Some GD&T and simulation experience would be useful but is not essential.
Mechanical Development Engineer Key Responsibilities
The Mechanical Development Engineer will lead development projects from initial concept through to full product realisation / implementation.
Assess and implement design change requests related to the full range of products.
Preparation, maintenance and revision control of 3D CAD models, drawings and BOM’s using SolidWorks CAD and PLM software.
Provide assistance to other departments and suppliers to help solve technical problems during manufacture and assembly.
Oversee validation testing required during the design change process and summarise results in a technical report. Wide ranging support to the R&D department in the research, testing and development of products.
Work closely with and support other departments (Production, Production Engineering, Purchasing, Quality) and suppliers to improve existing designs with respect to manufacturability and assembly.
Conduct calculations to validate the structural integrity of components and assemblies using a formula based approached for simple calculations.
I am looking to recruit a full time and permanent Maintenance Engineer to join an experienced and dedicated Engineering Team in Corby on a permanent night shift, working Sunday to Thursday, 22.00-06.00. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join the Maintenance department within a well-established factory. As well as being focused on continuous improvement and implementing specific products, you will also be responsible for maintaining the upkeep of the buildings and grounds areas of the Corby plant facility.

Core Level GCSE’s or Equivalent.
Experience/further education in engineering.
