The Lead Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Manufacturing Engineering Team activities and developing capabilities to meet the needs of the business.

Natural leader and change manager.
Significant relevant experience (ideally 5+ years leading a Manufacturing Engineering / Operations Excellence team).
Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance management systems to ensure team members meet their goals and objectives, providing regular feedback and development opportunities.
Intimate knowledge and experience of implementing lean methodology, ideally formal lean training e.g. Lean six Sigma.
Demonstrable understanding and proven delivery of key process development tools (i.e. D+PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPS).
Must be an excellent collaborator working closely with a peer group.
Capable of driving a team to complete projects on time and in full, managing budget and resource challenges and opportunities.
Be an excellent communicator, capable of engaging with individuals one-on-one. Able to communicate in a clear and concise manner and share information/new ideas with team members.
