Key Responsibilities for a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator:

  • Work with Siemens, Mazatrol, and Fanuc controllers.
  • Collaborate with a small team to meet production demands and quality standards.

Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Machinist, with a focus on CNC programming and operation.
  • Familiarity with Siemens, Mazatrol, and Fanuc controllers or similar. 
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.
  • Good work ethics, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.

Maintenance Electricians with robot exposure with high-speed robot machines are at a distinct advantage.

Mechanical Design Engineer Candidate Requirements

  • HND or suitable mechanical engineering design experience. A Degree would be ideal but isn’t essential.
  • 3D design proficiency - Pro-Engineer / Creo experience is preferred, but isn’t essential. 
  • Have a hands-on approach to engineering design and development.
  • Full system design experience would be preferred. 
  • Any Automotive, Military, Heavy Engineering, Off Highway / Construction Equipment experience would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent technical aptitude.
  • Previous experience of engineering projects/activities.
  • Planning and priority setting.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems would be a big advantage.

Mechanical Design Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • The Mechanical Design Engineer will support the generation and delivery of concept and manufacturing design definitions, based on technical specifications, requirements, costs and other constraints.
  • Support the conceptual development for new products.
  • Participate in maintaining relevant engineering processes and procedures.
  • Supporting the identification of business opportunities.
  • Problem solving on existing products and product improvement.
  • Support the evaluation of technical issues in order to develop proposals for investigations and/or solutions.
  • Support assigned projects, ensuring requirements are delivered to plan and budget.
  • Working alongside the customer on product development ensuring delivery of solutions to meet the customer’s requirements.
