Duties of an Maintenance Technician
As a proven Maintenance Technician, you will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, which will require you to have experience of supporting plant and equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing, process or production environment.
Requirements of a Maintenance Technician
Ideally you will be apprentice trained but must be qualified Electrically and have (as a minimum) fault finding abilities with Plc Controls and ideally Robot technology.
You must also be multi skilled in your abilities, having gained your Maintenance experience from supporting plant and equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing, process or production environment.

Due to rising demand, they are now looking for a service engineer to join their fantastic team.

Maintenance Engineer Duties:
40 Hour working week. (subject to requirements)
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of CNC equipment, machining tools and automation systems.
Identifying technical Issues and rectifying in an efficient manner.
Attend breakdowns.
Manage records and job recordings including PPM and parts usage.
Fault finding.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
HNC In Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. (or equivalent experience)
Previous experience as a Field based Tool Service Engineer or Similar role.
Knowledge of machine tool operation, automation, and CNC systems.
Experience troubleshooting Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic systems/
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.

The Mechanical Design Engineer will provide design engineering capability to engineering activities/projects assigned to client’s design engineering centre.
Salary, Hours, and Benefits
£40,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience
8:30am – 5pm, Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm finish on Friday’s (with flexibility available)
HND or suitable mechanical engineering design experience. A Degree would be ideal but isn’t essential.
3D design proficiency - Pro-Engineer / Creo experience is preferred, but isn’t essential.
Have a hands-on approach to engineering design and development.
Full system design experience would be preferred.
Any Automotive, Military, Heavy Engineering, Off Highway / Construction Equipment experience would be advantageous.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Excellent technical aptitude.
Previous experience of engineering projects/activities.
Planning and priority setting.
Working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems would be a big advantage.
Mechanical Design Engineer Key Responsibilities
The Mechanical Design Engineer will support the generation and delivery of concept and manufacturing design definitions, based on technical specifications, requirements, costs and other constraints.
Support the conceptual development for new products.
Participate in maintaining relevant engineering processes and procedures.
Supporting the identification of business opportunities.
Problem solving on existing products and product improvement.
Support the evaluation of technical issues in order to develop proposals for investigations and/or solutions.
Support assigned projects, ensuring requirements are delivered to plan and budget.
Working alongside the customer on product development ensuring delivery of solutions to meet the customer’s requirements.
Keeping up to date in relevant technical areas, developing skills and capabilities, and giving support to others as required.
Actively participate in business unit improvement activities.
