Responsibilities of Project Engineer

  • Manage all project phases, including design, procurement, planning and installation
  • Create designs to problem solve including creating equipment specifications
  • Monitor Project requirements, timings and cost
  • Identify risks
  • Deliver projects on time and in budget
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Contribute to the verification and signing off of designs

Requirements for Project Engineer

  • Significant Project management experience
  • Proficient in mechanical design and maintenance of equipment such as agitators and pumps
  • Good knowledge of the chemical industry
  • Strong written and presentation skills

Role Function

Be a member of the Production team including supporting Stores as and when requested.
Provide support to the Production Team to ensure a fast and efficient turnaround for all goods entering the site.

Materials Handler Candidate Requirements

  • FLT Licence – Counterbalance & Reach.
  • Working knowledge of PC & Microsoft Packages.
  • Experience in a Stores and Engineering environment.
  • Team player
  • Numerically competent
  • Experience of manual handling
  • Potential overhead crane work (training will be given)
  • Shunting around site using tractor and trailer
  • Experience of Loading and unloading lorries
  • Experience of FLT operations
  • Part identification
  • Inter departmental interactions and delivery

Materials Handler Key Responsibilities

Parts should be stored in a safe and suitable location.
Eensure material flow is maintained to support Production.
Accurate picking of goods for manufacturing, 3rd party suppliers and spares is a necessity in a timely manner, if requested.
Offloading and loading of vehicles both manually and with a F.L.T.
Housekeeping to be carried out daily, within stores and surrounding areas.
Good communication at all levels is required.  i.e. Purchasing, Manufacturing, Warranty, Quality etc.
Work safely to Company’s Health & Safety guidelines, whilst being customer focused.
Support Continuous Improvement activities.

This role is commutable from the following locations: Stretford / Sale / Stockport / Salford 

Shift in place for the CNC Setter Operators: Double Days - Morning shift and Afternoon shift.

Duties of CAD/CAM Engineer

  • Using CAD/CAM software to create engineering drawings and programs
  • Set and programme CNC Milling machines (MAZAK and XYZ)
  • Utilising existing tooling and fixtures
  • Prove and set programmes before handing over to production
  • Create greater efficiencies within the library of existing drawings
  • Develop and improve manufacturing methods
  • Create digital information folders to help staff to use during the manufacturing process, including programme detail and  fixture, Tooling detail
  • Setting cycle time detail

Requirements for CAD/CAM Engineer:

  • CADCAM experience 
  • Ability to programme CADCAM machines
  • To have the skills to programme CNC Milling machines
  • To be able to develop and maintain digital documentation systems
  • Must be able to read engineering drawings
