Tooling Engineer Responsibilities:
- Service and maintain injection moulding tools and ensure smooth running of production plans.
- Attend tool breakdowns and diagnose/ resolve tooling issues.

- Liaise closely with the Tooling Leader on tooling issues regarding production downtime, low stock levels, planned preventative maintenance, and reactive repairs.
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
Tooling Engineer Requirements:
- Mechanical/fitting training
- Knowledge of Sequential gate hot runner systems.
- Knowledge of hydraulic/ pneumatic cylinders in relation to hot runner systems and tooling cores.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work alone or with a team dependent on jobs.
- Experience of using lathes, milling machines and surface grinder tables.
- Basic understanding of electrics associated with tool heating and controls.
