We are looking for a TOOLMAKER FOR A PERMANENT NIGHTS POSITION

Are you an experienced Toolmaker, who likes to be kept busy?  This is a friendly, supportive working environment, with plenty of progression prospects available.  There is also support for further training and development.

37.5 working hour week, with Paid Overtime available. Always an early finish on Fridays to give you a good work / life balance  

Well established company, with new projects arriving, creating the need for an experienced Toolmaker. Long-term prospects look fantastic and you will be joining a friendly team

The role is commutable from Walsall, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, Tyseley, Solihull, Aldridge, Moseley, Halesowen, Cannock, Coventry, Redditch, Tamworth, Kings Heath and Minworth

DUTIES of TOOLMAKER:

  • Corrective, breakdown, and preventative maintenance on the Tooling
  • Respond swiftly to breakdowns
  • Die repairs
  • Repairs on welded jigs and fixtures
  • Tooling modifications and refurbishments
  • Ensure repairs are carried out to agreed timescales

REQUIREMENTS OF TOOLMAKER

  • Ideally, you will be Apprentice trained
  • To have worked in a busy Toolroom
  • Ideally, transfer and progression tooling knowledge
  • Both preventative and repair to existing tooling
  • Happy to work Nights – Mon - Friday
