Probe Technical are looking to recruit an exceptional opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a small team on an early and lates shift. This is an outstanding chance to join the only UK subsidiary of a large multi-national company with a great Plant Manager to work with. This is a fantastic role for someone who is hands-on, technical, and operational that likes to be left to manage their own time. As part of a top manufacturing group, you will be required to maintain plant and machinery to a high standard through PPM and proactively schedule maintenance works to maximise service levels.
The average level of work service on site is 15 years, showing that people really enjoy working there with the close-knit team.
The package details for the role of Maintenance Engineer include:
A salary banding that’s negotiable up to £45,000 depending on experience.
Company Pension which is a salary sacrifice
Holidays starting at 23 and increasing to 28 with service.
Rotating 2 shifts Monday – Friday
As a Maintenance Engineer this will be a high-pressured environment so the ability to be able to work well under pressure is a pre-requisite of the position, in addition the ideal candidate will be:
To hold a level 3 Engineering or Maintenance qualification
Have a strong electro / mechanical aptitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Can troubleshoot and repair sophisticated machinery (such as electrical, pneumatic or mechanical systems)
Can respond urgently to immediate problems and be disciplined enough to plan routine tasks, future improvements and preventative maintenance
Good understanding of lean manufacturing techniques (such as 5S, Kaizen, TPM, AM & PM).
The Maintenance Engineer role is commutable from Derby, Nottingham, and Leicester.

Role Overview
The Stores Supervisor will oversee order processing and coordinate the daily warehousing activities, including responsibilities across Despatch. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and continuing to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance.
Stores Supervisor Essential Requirements
Must be able to demonstrate experience working in a highly pressurised environment - the business is looking for this person to be able to identify, raise and offer solutions
Proven and demonstrable Supervisory experience, you will have the ability to direct and coordinate operations
This is a hands-on role, so you will have experience of and be prepared to be hands-on
Knowledge of stores software packages and MS office proficiency
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong organizational and time management skills
Driving licence
Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management or business administration – desirable but not essential
Stores Supervisor Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, despatching and assuring quality of goods
Measure and report the effectiveness of stores activities and employee’s performance
Organise and maintain inventory and storage area
Ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy
Communicate job expectations and coach employees, building a strong team
Determine staffing levels and assign workload
The Stores Supervisor will interface with other departments to answer questions or solve problems
Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project Stores status
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
