An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Electrician.

The maintenance electrician will be joining an already established Maintenance team and will have support from Senior engineers on site.
This role is commutable from: Stockport / Stoke-On-Trent / Macclesfield / Denton
Shift the maintenance electrician will be required to work Monday to Thursday – the option to work 1pm till 11pm or 2pm till 12 o clock.

Maintenance Electrician Duties:
Trouble shooting and Fault Finding on various machines including Injection Moulding Machines, Extruders, Grinders, Rotational Moulding Machines, and associated ancillaries.
Planned Preventative Maintenance.
Identifying parts required to carry out repairs and providing details to the Maintenance Manager.
Using blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete projects.
Testing of fixed installations.
Some building maintenance such as lighting & small power.
Installation of 3 phase supplies & associated switchgear.
Highlighting potential problems with aging switchgear and advising the correct course of action for rectification.
Maintenance Electrician Requirements:
Experience with Siemens and Mitsubishi PLC’s. – Strong fault-finding abilities
Experience with Grinders, Extruders, Injection Moulding machinery.
Ideally experience within Single and 3 phase systems.
Dealing with some Plant maintenance such as Lighting and Small power.
Must be Apprentice trained, holding a Formal qualification in Electrical engineering.

The Maintenance electrician will hold the following:
Experience in an engineering maintenance or service role is essential.
Holding fault finding abilities with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC’s
Excellent fault -finding skills are crucial, especially; motor drives, temperature controllers, able to fault find on PLC and other control systems.
Competent in mechanical repairs
Experience carrying out preventative maintenance tasks.
Ability to facilitate repairs under pressure.
Flexible and able to adapt to situations as they occur.
Able to work in a team and independently.
IT literate; including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook,), Gradus CMMS system.
Familiar with building maintenance tasks
Apprentice trained.
Educated to HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Extensive Electrical knowledge 17th Edition – progressing to 18th.
Full valid UK Driving Licence
Flexible – as you may be required to travel to alternative sites on occasions.

Duties of an Maintenance Technician
As a proven Maintenance Technician you will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, that will see you supporting start of the art automated production equipment.
Requirements of an Maintenance Technician
Ideally you will be apprentice trained but must be qualified either Electrically or Mechanically to a City & Guilds or NVQ standard and have some understanding of Plc Controls and Robot technology, allied to have previous experience of supporting plant and equipment within a fast paced manufacturing or production environment.
It is also essential that you hold a driving license.
The role is commutable from Stafford, Stoke on Trent, Cannock, Market Drayton & Uttoxeter.
