Role Overview
The Process Engineer will be a subject matter expert on key processes and systems and will improve these through the rigorous application of continuous improvement techniques ensuring the involvement of the team.

4+ years of proven experience
Lean Manufacturing
Six Sigma and experience from a machining environment.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum HND Qualified with 4+ years of significant experience.

Knowledge of Precision CNC manufacturing processes – essential.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and technical specifications.

Process Engineer Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)
Develop and drive a culture of continuous improvement ensuring the engagement and involvement of the entire production department.
Lead improvement activities across all production areas through Measurement, Analysis, Improvement and Control.
Assist in the training of staff ensuring that they develop the skills to become subject matter experts in various systems and processes; enabling them to implement and sustain the improvements.
Lead and support root cause analysis when production issues arise. Implement corrective and preventative actions and ensure that these are appropriately documented and approved in accordance with local procedures.
Provide engineering support to include design reviews, production metrics, manufacturing quotations and scrap review
Improve Plant effectiveness and utilisation in line with production demands, with a key focus on the removal of production bottlenecks.
Develop, maintain and improve production procedures to execute all activities in a safe, efficient and compliant way.
Maintain and improve the performance and quality of products ensuring they conform to established standards, specifications and customer requirement.
