The Process Operator is primarily responsible for the batch manufacturing of products. This includes the preparation, mixing, and reacting of chemical ingredients, alongside monitoring, and documenting the manufacturing process to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. There will be an initial training period where you will be expected to work days.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to develop and refine risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of the site's Environmental Management System (EMS).

REQUIREMENTS
- Proven health and safety experience in manufacturing, preferably within high-hazard industries (chemicals and COMAH exposure preferred).
- Expertise in developing and reviewing risk assessments and implementing improvements.
- Proficient in incident investigation, root cause analysis, auditing, and detailed report writing.
- NEBOSH Certificate (essential).
- Strong knowledge of current SHE legislation and regulations.
- Familiarity with process safety, human factors, and behavioural safety (advantageous).
