Maintenance Engineer Duties include:

• Continentals 4 on 4 off. 
• Holiday cover – provide holiday cover throughout the year to your colleagues on the opposite shift pattern. You will be required to provide holiday cover in complete “set” of shifts – e.g., if your colleague has booked 1 night/day shift as annual leave, you will transfer to fulfil one set of 4 night/day shifts rather than just provide cover for 1 night/day shift. 2 weeks minimum notice will be given. 
• Ensure equipment is maintained in a safe and cost-effective manner. 
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance. 
• Be a part of the development of safety improvement and continuous improvement. 
• Carryout maintenance tasks in accordance with all company policies. 
• Root cause fixes. 
• Problem solve and challenge. 

As a Maintenance Engineer Requirements include: 

• Apprentice trained ideally to HNC Level 4 (Mechanical or Electrical). 
• Must be multi-skilled. 
• 18th Edition (Desirable). 
• CMMS experience. 
• Experience using PLCs (Preferably Siemens S7). 
• Experience with Fanuc and ABB Robots (Advantageous). 
• Strong fault-finding capabilities. 
• FMCG experience. 
• Ability to read engineering drawings. 
• Good IT skills.
