RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating CMM programs
  • Evaluate measurement data
  • Creating measurement programs for CMM with or without CAD model
  • Drawing up initial sample test reports as per the VDA and PPAP template
  • Implementing all measurement equipment 
  • Calibration of gauges
  • Re-qualification inspections
  • SPC

REQUIREMENTS

  • It is essential that you have relevant CMM Programming experience
  • Ideally PC-DMIS
  • To have gained your experience from within a manufacturing environment
  • Good working knowledge of PPAP’s and SPC
  • Good level of IT Literacy

Role Function 

The Continuous Improvement Engineer will play a key part in improving and maintaining the company manufacturing processes, making them safer, more efficient, and consistent. Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement Engineer role or similar
  • Experience within a pressing, sheet metal or fabrication environment would be advantageous
  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience

  • Read Engineering Drawings 
  • Use computer equipment for date purposes.  

Experience the CNC Turners will hold.

  • Experienced with CNC Controls: Okuma / FANUC / Mazak 
  • Experience with Loading Lathes / Driven Tool lathes / Horizontal Machines / Vertical machines. 
  • Prove experience within a CNC Turners position. 
  • Experienced within a Manufacturing Environment. 
  • Must be able to setup, operator, and make adjustments to the tools and fixtures offsets on CNC Machines 
  • Must be Time served – Holding formal qualification

  • Manufacture, maintain, and repair a variety of press  tooling, jigs, and fixtures
  • Read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications
  • Perform inspections and testing to ensure tools meet strict quality standards

REQUIREMENTS for TOOLMAKER

  • Proven experience as a Toolmaker in a precision engineering or manufacturing setting
  • Skilled in both Single Operation and Progression tooling
  • To have the ability to read engineering drawings and using hand tools and general Toolroom equipment
  • Detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a collaborative team
