Probe Technical are looking to recruit a permanent Industrial Control Panel Wirer to be based at a business in Worcester. They are a lovely small firm which are extremely busy. You will be responsible for ensuring the precise installation of electrical wiring and associated materials to schematic and engineering drawings. 

The package details for the role of Panel Wirer include the below and further at interview:

  • £30,000 (negotiable) 
  • Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm (30 mins unpaid lunch) 
  • Standard Pension 
  • 20 + Bank Holidays 
  • There is overtime on offer but paid at the normal rate 

You must have a minimum 3-year previous experience building & wiring panels. Good numeracy and literacy skills. BS7671 18th edition desirable.

Other key duties and experience for the Panel Wirer role involve:  

  • Perform panel layout, assemble components into panel.
  • Wiring panels.
  • Read, interpret and work from schematic / engineering drawings / instructions from engineers
  • Site based installations and Panel modifications

Essential Requirements

  • Proven Head of Operations / Operations Director experience within Manufacturing.
  • Experience of working for a business circa 50 million+ turnover.
  • An Engineering background, someone who has risen through a business.
  • Very much hands-on, but also strategic.
  • A business qualification would be advantageous. 
  • Deep understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Commercially astute with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Head of Operations Key Responsibilities

  • The Head of Operations will provide strong, strategic leadership across operational functions to drive high performance and collaboration.
  • Championing a proactive Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality culture.
  • Maintaining profitability during rapid business expansion.

This will be an opportunity for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join an established Manufacturing / Textiles organisation with a proven record of providing quality products. Days – Monday to Thursday 8am till 16.45pm / Friday 7am till 15:00pm

Ideally the Maintenance Electrician will hold the following experience: 

  • Experience in an engineering maintenance or service role is essential. 
  • Holding fault finding abilities with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC’s 
  • Excellent fault -finding skills are crucial, especially; motor drives, temperature controllers, able to fault find on PLC and other control systems.
  • Competent in mechanical repairs
  • Experience carrying out preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to facilitate repairs under pressure.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to situations as they occur.
  • Able to work in a team and independently.
  • IT literate; including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook,), Gradus CMMS system.
  • Familiar with building maintenance tasks
  • Apprentice trained. 
  • Educated to HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Extensive Electrical knowledge 18th Edition 
  • Full valid UK Driving Licence

Qualification the Maintenance Electrician will hold: 

  • Electrical Apprenticeship
  • BTEC ONC & BTEC HNC Electrical Engineering.
 

I'm looking for a mechanically biassed Maintenance Engineer in the Stoke area. We’re working closely to identify an Engineer that is qualified to a minimum level 3 in a mechanical discipline.
