A great opportunity has arisen for a field service engineer to join an expanding team for a pressing company based in Wednesbury. My client works with many blue-chip companies from different sectors across the Midlands and the UK 

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be primarily based throughout the Midlands with occasional work further afield. You will help maintain and service machines in a timely and effective manner.

Your core hours will be 7:00 – 16:00.

Field Service Engineer Benefits:

  • Strong Hydraulic systems knowledge. 
  • Must be a good communicator. 
  • Full clean driving license.

As the Electrical Maintenance Team Leader, you will have desirable working hours of 07:00am – 17.00pm Mon- Fri.

  • Time served with experience of working in a manufacturing environment ideally heavy manufacturing, FMCG, Chemical or Food industries.
  • Previous leadership experience in a Team Leader / Supervisor role or similar
  • Strong controls and automation experience with PLC’s including maintenance, programming, and diagnostics.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills

We are seeking to recruit a number of multi skilled maintenance contractors to support our plant with a key project.  

You will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance tasks to our wide range of production machinery that will require you to hold good multi skilled abilities.

Linked to your multi skilled abilities you must also hold some exposure to supporting Plc controls and robotic applications. 

Ideally you will be apprentice trained but must hold formal qualifications electrically or mechanically to a City & Guilds or NVQ standard, having gained your maintenance experience within a fast moving manufacturing or production environment.

Please note that as this project falls inside IR35, we will have to pay you via a FCSA accredited Umbrella.
