Duties of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer
As a proven Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, which will require you to have experience of supporting plant and equipment within either a heavy engineering / manufacturing or a process plant environment.
Requirements of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer
You must hold formal Electrical Maintenance Engineering Apprenticeship and ideally be qualified to either a City & Guilds or NVQ standard, with previous experience of supporting plant and equipment within a heavy engineering or process plant environment.

Due to retirement, I have a huge opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join a global carbon company based near Tipton. My client is an international manufacturer of activated carbon, purification systems and carbon filters.
My client is looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Manager with a similar background in mechanical and electrical engineering. This role will further progress to UK Operations Manager which will require travel between two sites.
Maintenance Manager Role Benefits:
Salary £47,000 - £50,0000
Company Car.
Bonus Scheme £3,000 - £5,000 a year.

Duties of Maintenance Manager include:
Maintain and manage the PPM program
Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget.
Manage the capital investment forecast and ensure all projects in their area of responsibility.
Organise and manage the turnaround of the equipment in the plant.
Issue any required requisitions or orders in their area of responsibility and grant of authority.
Implement and follow-up any new equipment project in the plant.
Participate in relevant meetings.
Maintenance Manager Requirements include:
Degree or equivalent in engineering.
Previous supervisory experience.
5 Years’ experience in a maintenance role.
Strong Electrically and Mechanically.
Good written skills.
Be able to make decisions.
