Duties of CAD/CAM Engineer
- Using CAD/CAM software to create engineering drawings and programs
- Set and programme CNC Milling machines (MAZAK and XYZ)
- Utilising existing tooling and fixtures
- Prove and set programmes before handing over to production
- Create greater efficiencies within the library of existing drawings
- Develop and improve manufacturing methods
- Create digital information folders to help staff to use during the manufacturing process, including programme detail and fixture, Tooling detail
