RESPONSIBILITIES for CNC TURNER
- Program, set, and operate CNC turning machines (Mazatrol, Siemens, G-code)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Competent with all aspects of setting tools and understanding cutting speeds, feeds, boring, drilling and threading
- Machine components to tight tolerances
- Perform tooling setups with a strong understanding of speeds and feeds
- Use precision measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS for CNC TURNER
- Significant experience in CNC Setting, Operating programming
- Sound knowledge of machining principles and best practices
- Proficient in the use of inspection and measurement equipment
- Experience of measuring / inspection equipment, including verniers, bore gauges and micrometers

DUTIES
- Lead PMPs from concept through to commissioning, ensuring all necessary hazard assessments and HAZOP studies are completed.
- Define the scope and depth of hazard assessments, perform engineering calculations, develop testing programmes, and revise designs based on findings.

Manufacturing Engineer Role Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer will define, develop & implement equipment, processes and standards of working for application within the production environment.

Candidate Requirements
- HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or similar qualification.
