DUTIES for MASTER METAL ROLLER

• Running and fine-tuning plate, section, or rolling machines with absolute precision
• Diagnosing rolling issues before they become problems — by sound, feel, and instinct
• Training and mentoring younger operators with your hard-earned know-how
• Coaxing the very best out of the Metal Rolling Machines
• Sharing insights on tooling, machine setup, and rolling strategy based on decades of experience
• Helping refine rolling processes — not with buzzwords, but with results

REQUIREMENTS for MASTER METAL ROLLER

• Significant  in metal rolling — cold or hot, plate, tube, beam, or section
• Deep, practical knowledge of materials, tolerances, machine behaviour, and tooling
• Old-school work ethic: take pride in your work, show up on time, and always finish strong

Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician – Days Only – Up to £45,000 – Worcestershire

We’re hiring a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our long standing engineering team at our Worcestershire based facility.

This is a permanent, days based role with no night shifts and is open to candidates with either a mechanical or electrical bias.

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of plant and production equipment. This position is ideal for someone with hands on experience in a fast paced distribution, manufacturing, production or processing plant environment.

What We're Looking For:

• Either mechanically or electrically biased – we’re open to both

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manufacture, assemble, maintain, and repair press tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Operate manual machinery, including milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, and EDM machines.
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Conduct tool trials, identify issues, and implement modifications to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot tooling issues in collaboration with the production team.
• Work with a variety of materials, including steel and aluminum, 
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to improve tooling efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate documentation of tooling modifications and repairs.

REQUIREMENTS
