RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manufacture, assemble, maintain, and repair press tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Operate manual machinery, including milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, and EDM machines.
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Conduct tool trials, identify issues, and implement modifications to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot tooling issues in collaboration with the production team.
- Work with a variety of materials, including steel and aluminum,
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to improve tooling efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate documentation of tooling modifications and repairs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Apprentice trained ideally or equivalent
- Experience with Press tools, preferably progression
- Proficiency in using various machining tools including mills, lathes and grinders

We will consider someone that isn’t currently a supervisor but wanting that next step up. Your role will be to assist within the Management team, supervising the Operatives and Fitters on shift. It is a very hands-on role, where some Engineering experience is beneficial as you will be required to do some Maintenance. This is an excellent time to join due to business growth.

You will be responsible for ensuring the precise installation of electrical wiring and associated materials to schematic and engineering drawings.
The package details for the role of Panel Wirer include the below and further at interview:
- £30,000 (negotiable)
- Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm (30 mins unpaid lunch)
