Company:

This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a Maintenance Engineering team with our FMCG production client based in Telford to work alternate AM and PM shifts Monday - Friday, rotating on a weekly basis.

Duties:

  • In the role of Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be undertaking breakdown and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, components, and installations in a high speed FMCG production environment.
  • You will take part in a weekly rotating shift pattern working 39 hours per week. Hours of work will be rotating AM Shift 6am - 2pm and PM shift 2pm - 10pm Mon - Friday.

Requirements:

  • To apply for this role of Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will need to hold a relevant Engineering qualification such as City & Guilds and will ideally be Apprentice trained.
  • Successful candidates will ideally have experience of maintaining plant and production machinery and will ideally hold both Electrical and Mechanical abilities.

In Return:

  • The salary offered for the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer position is  up to £35,000 + paid overtime + excellent holiday entitlement.

This position is based in Telford and is commutable from Shrewsbury, Cannock, Wolverhampton, and surrounding areas.

Higher Skilled Maintenance Electrician

Introduction:

This is a opportunity for a higher skilled maintenance electrician, we are looking for the right individual to hold very good skills on hardware - fault finding - also we ideally need this individual to have both fault finding and programming abilities with PLC’s: Siemens and Allen Bradley.

The right candidate will hold experience:

  • Maintain and install all electrical machinery
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance
  • Complete maintenance work orders, use of CMMS systems
  • Be able to communicate at all levels throughout the business
  • Electrically Biased - but holding a split on the mechanical Side
  • Knowledge of variable speed drives
  • Must be able to read schematic drawings
  • As mentioned, key to the role is the fault finding and programming experience with PLC’s / Hardware.

Duties:

Experience with the following Equipment:

We are seeking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Technician) to join a company who are an engineering solution provider. The ideal candidate must have 3+ years of mechanical experience in an industrial, manufacturing or military environment.

Duties:

  • Safely and efficiently troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install equipment in compliance with all plant policies and procedures with the highest standards of workmanship and professionalism
  • Experience working with machinery and mechanical equipment such as: motors, pneumatic/hydraulic components, steam systems and production equipment; as well as experience reading diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturers specifications
  • Using hand tools, power tools, precision-measuring and testing instruments
  • Respond to all maintenance issues throughout the plant and perform other duties as required
  • Introduction and installation of new equipment.

Skills and Requirements for Maintenance Engineer:  

You must be a time served Mechanical Engineer, electrical knowledge an advantage and must be willing to maintain a strict adherence to safety rules and regulations

  • Experience with pressurised systems, steam, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics and fabrication
  • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and working with PLC’s, HMI’s, A/C & D/C motors, drives, encoders, resolvers, control systems, bearings, gearboxes, drive systems etc.
  • Must be able to read maintenance schematics / blueprints
  • Experience diagnosing mechanical systems using various tools
