The Role:

Working as part of the maintenance team you will be required to undertake planned and reactive maintenance to a range of plant and equipment, within a process plant environment.

We are keen to employ a post maintenance apprentices, who are keen to continue their development into a fully-fledged Maintenance Technician and are willing to continue both your on the job training in plant and equipment.

The Skills Required:

You must have completed either a modern or advanced modern maintenance apprenticeship within either manufacturing process or production environment and hold either an electrical or mechanical  bias to your skill base.

The Return on offer:

Negotiable Base Salary of £22,000 - £26,000 Plus Paid Overtime, Company Pension & Excellent Holiday Entitlement and Genuine mentoring, support and training to able you to develop into a fully-fledged Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician.

Introduction:

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join this Manufacturer based in Stoke on Trent. This is a “hands on” role where you will be joining an established maintenance team to undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on plant machinery.

The Role:

  • In the role of Maintenance Electrician, you will be joining a team of Engineers to undertake both planned and reactive Electrical maintenance tasks to plant machinery across the facility.
  • This is a “hands on” multi skilled role and you will be working on electrical control systems, invertors, single, 3 phase and dc motors, fault diagnosis and rectification on safety circuits and Electrical installations. You will be working a 3 shift rota system alternating AM/PM and Night shifts.

The Requirements:

  • To be considered for the Maintenance Electrician position you will ideally be Apprentice trained and will need to hold a relevant Electrical Engineering qualification such as City & Guilds or equivalent.
  • You must also be able to demonstrate excellent fault finding abilities and have experience of supporting machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.

AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Role:

In this role you will be working DAYS Mon - Fri with a leading high volume manufacturer based in Telford that offers fantastic benefits including 31 days holiday, monthly performance related bonus, healthcare/life assurance and subsidised canteen. As an Automation Engineer you will be providing electrical diagnostics, repair and improvements to plant, machinery, equipment and site services.

 In the role of Automation Engineer you will be:

  • Undertaking both planned and reactive Electrical maintenance tasks across the facility that will require you to hold a strong Electrical Maintenance background.
  • Identify and implement Continuous Improvement efficiencies and minimize downtime of plant equipment.
  • Support planned Maintenance activity to building and equipment.
  • Raise orders for spare parts, refurbishments and services

Knowledge and Experience required for the Automation Engineer role:

  • You will need to demonstrate a good grounding in PLC Controls within Siemens S7, electrical fault finding and repair, circuitry schematics, and electrical drives.
  • Successful candidates will need to hold a relevant electrical Engineering qualification e.g. City & Guilds/HNC/HND or equivalent.
  • To be considered for this position, I would be interested in speaking with Engineers who hold experience within a high volume manufacturing engineering environment as a Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Electrician or a similar Automation Maintenance role.

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

This is a Monday - Friday DAY shift opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading high volume manufacturer based in Telford. You will be undertaking repair and planned maintenance on a range of plant machinery.

The Role:

  • This is a Days based role working Monday - Friday as part of an existing maintenance team. In the role of Maintenance Engineer, you will be undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the facility that will require you to hold both mechanical and electrical engineering abilities.
  • To be considered for this position you will need to demonstrate previous experience within a maintenance role in a high volume manufacturing or similar engineering environment and hold a relevant Engineering qualification e.g. City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 or equivalent. I would be keen to speak with experienced maintenance engineers/electricians or multi skilled engineers who are seeking a new position.

Maintenance Electrician

A position has become available for a Maintenance Electrician to join an organisation based in the Prescot location.

Duties:

  • Prioritise & Complete maintenance work activities.
  • Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.
  • Service / Repair of all site equipment.
  • Complete testing & inspection of facilities, plant & equipment
  • Daily communication on department requirements.
  • Daily communication on Production requirements.
  • Work in conjunction with site contractors.
  • Identify enhancements and improvements within the department.
  • Identify spares & replacement machine parts to ensure limited downtime.
  • Maintainability of a PPM system.
  • Ensure that high standards of housekeeping are maintained.

Skills and Experience:

  • Good Communication with Managers, Peers, Subordinates and contractors is essential.
  • Mechanical maintenance knowledge
  • Electrical maintenance knowledge.
  • Good working knowledge of CNC machines, Presses, General High-volume machines.
  • Good knowledge of PLC controls.
  • Experienced in electrical installation work.
  • Competent in general MS computer applications.
  • Competent in all H & S requirements associated with maintenance & general safety.
  • Ideally, a knowledge of vacuum forming, and polyurethane foaming would be an advantage
  • Apprentice trained
  • HNC / ONC on Electrical or Mechanical engineering
  • Trained & certified on electrical testing & 17th /18th edition.

The Role:

  • As a Maintenance Electrician you will be joining an existing Maintenance team undertaking Electrical maintenance on plant machinery and PLC run equipment.
  • You will be working Continental DAY shifts 6am – 6pm 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

The Skills Required:

  • To be successful in the role of Maintenance Electrician you will need to be electrically biased and hold an Electrical Engineering qualification such as City & Guilds / NVQ level 3.
  • In this position you will ideally have fault finding experience with Siemens PLCs and you will need to hold previous experience of supporting machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • I would be keen to talk with Maintenance Electricians or Engineers who hold previous experience within similar roles such as Electrical Engineers or Multi skilled Maintenance Engineers who hold an Electrical bias.

The Return on offer:

The salary including shift allowance is up £34,000, depending on skills and experience, 22 days holiday + overtime.

We are seeking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer and would be keen to speak with candidates who have experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Electrician, or Technician seeking a next step in their career.

The company operates a 16/5 hour with factory open 5.30 – 21.30. Your shifts will include 8-hour shifts based on early, late and day shifts. The ideal candidate must ideally have experience in food manufacturing/ processing or bulk material handling. Capable of working in a demanding Maintenance environment providing planned maintenance & breakdown support.  The company offer’s along with a competitive salary, Paid Overtime, Company Pension, Holiday, Sick pay.

Duties for Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant company and statutory legislation and contribute towards compliance in the areas of, Health and Safety, UFAS, HACCP,M&S,OF&G Environment and all other areas as appropriate
  • Completion and sign off of Safety checks and calibrations.
  • Ensuring equipment is maintained to meet PUWER requirements
  • Complete all tasks as directed by the site Engineering management team
  • Completion Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks is carried out at the set intervals and ensure that the work/actions are reported back to the Engineering management.

Skills and Requirements for Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:  

Allied to your experience the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will ideally be a time served Electrical, Mechanical or Electro Mechanical Apprenticeship. Previous experience with either of the below is beneficial:

  • 17th Edition Electrical regs
  • PLC programming and fault finding is desirable
  • City & Guilds 3722 is desirable
  • Fabrication & Welding
  • Operation of machine tools, lathe & milling
  • Maintenance, diagnostics of bearings

This Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer position is with a Heavy Industry manufacturing company based close to Newark. Commutable from Lincoln, Grantham, Nottingham and Newark on Trent

The Role:

  • In this role of Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer you will be joining an existing Maintenance team undertaking Electrical and Mechanical maintenance on plant machinery and PLC run equipment.
  • You will be work Monday - Friday on alternating 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 11pm shifts, with occasional overtime opportunities at weekends.

The Skills Required:

  • To be successful in the role of Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer you will need to be electrically biased with mechanical skills and hold an Electrical qualification.
  • This position requires you to have fault finding experience with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLCs and you will need to hold experience of supporting machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
