Duties of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
As a proven Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, which will require you to have experience of supporting plant and equipment within either a fast paced manufacturing, process or production environment.
Requirements of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
Ideally you will be apprentice trained but must be qualified either Electrically or Mechanically and have some understanding of Plc Controls but must be multi skilled in your abilities. Having gained your Maintenance experience from supporting plant and equipment within a fast paced manufacturing, process or production environment.

The position would suit a hungry Civil Engineer (or similar), with the right attitude and application to develop their engineering skills further. You will wear many hats in this role, covering elements of design, estimating, planning and procurement. There will be a steep learning curve, which the incumbent would benefit from greatly.
Ability to successfully design a solution and provide an estimate using a variety of different foundation solutions
Achieve appropriate grade of corporate membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers, client has a good program in place
Form strong relationships with existing and new Clients
Liaise with departments and build relationships with staff to ensure projects are successful
Key Responsibilities
To assist in the day to day running of the South West piling department including; design, estimating, planning, procurement, client liaison, assisting in day to day technical issues. Such duties will be reviewed and increased over time, in line with the candidate’s natural development and career progression.
Pile Design, Estimating
Reviewing enquiries and printing documents, requesting information from clients
Carrying out site visits, liaison with clients, attending meetings with clients
Preparation of designs for construction issues and ensure compliance with QA procedures, Health & Safety, and statutory requirements
Liaison with other members of staff and departments
Handover of projects and assisting the operation team, assistance with restricted access projects
Civil Engineer Person Specification
MSc Geotechnics or MSc Geology would be preferable, although a Civil Engineering Degree with soils and geotechnical exposure may suffice

Previous experience in the piling industry would be beneficial but not essential
