2 Positions for Heat Treatment Operatives have become available within a highly reputable, unique manufacturing organisation.
There is a choice of either a permanent Afternoon shift – or a permanent Night shift.
This is a very stable organisation, having been established for many many years.
Commutable from Birmingham, Moseley, Kings Heath, Kidderminster, Aston, Worcester, Bromyard, Dudley, Rowley, Regis, Halesowen, Redditch and Tipton

- £27,500 - £32,500 – dependant on which shift

DUTIES OF HEAT TREATMENT OPERATIVE
- Working with other Heat Treatment Operatives to maximise productivity.
- Help to plan furnace loads to minimise gas usage.
- Inspect all components through process.
- Support continuous improvements
- If licensed Forklift truck driving
- Crane driving
- Unloading and loading lorries
- Operate heat treatment machinery (chargers)
- Collect work from forging areas and load heat treatment.
- Daily furnace inspection
- Report any non-confirming processes.
REQUIREMENTS OF HEAT TREATMENT OPERATIVE
- Ideally, you will have had previous experience in heat treatment.
- Highly beneficial if you have experience with lighting heat treatment furnaces though not essential.
- Physically fit
- To have the ability to follow written instructions.
- Happy working a dedicated shift.
- Overhead and forklift experience
