An established manufacturing organisation, steeped in history, have a vacancy for a Production Manager.  

This is a clean and tide environment, that needs someone to manage and instigate improvements within a manufacturing facility.  This is a busy, organisation, and the potential for this to develop into a bigger role, with more responsibilities is huge, your destiny really is in your own hands

It’s a lively working environment, and you will be managing an already pretty motivated team.  There is a choice of either a day or afternoon position.

Production Manager Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of approximately fifteen staff
• Drive continuous improvements
• Oversee production schedules and ensure timely delivery of projects. 
• Mentor and train team members on best practices and safety protocols. 
• Maintain machine efficiency and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Collaborate with other supervisors to optimize production processes
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Reduction of cycle times and increase productivity
• New product introduction, increasing product range
• Reduction of tooling costs
• Maintaining a high level of housekeeping

Production Manager Requirements:

• Strong Leadership and communication skills
• To have previously driven continuous improvements
• This would suit someone who is truly motivated to make an impact
• Previous experience of supervising Operators and Setters
• This would suit an experienced Man-Manager, or someone who is looking to step up
• To be able to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment
• Choice of either Day OR afternoon shift
• Flexible to cover shifts if needed
