BENCH HAND

We are offering an exceptional opportunity for a BENCH HAND

This is an exciting Organisation to be part of, you would be joining a prestigious, state of the Art manufacturing organisation, with a vast multitude of different manufacturing process under one roof.

We are seeking an experienced BENCH HAND to join our skilled team. Ideally, but not essential, you will have some exposure to CNC milling and toolmaking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing top-notch work. Commutable from Birmingham, Henley-in-Arden, Redditch, Studley, Stratford-upon-Avon, Bromsgrove, Northfield, Halesowen, Hollywood, Moseley, Solihull, Alcester, Droitwich and Alvechurch

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set-Up & Operation: Operate CNC milling machines if you have the experience
  • Toolmaking: Manufacture, maintain, and repair tools, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Quality Control: Perform rigorous inspections to ensure components meet exact specifications.
  • Working with Engineering drawings
  • Use of standard milling machines, grinding and use of conventional Toolroom equipment.

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Experience: Knowledge in a toolmaking/CNC milling role.
  • Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Knowledge: Use of CNC machining processes, beneficial but not essential
  • Attention to Detail: High level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Education: Apprenticeship or technical qualification in machining/toolmaking or related field is preferred but not essential
  • UK based experience
