Duties of a Maintenance Technician:
As a Permanent Night Shift Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing operational efficiency and reliability of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands on position that requires a solid foundation in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues to determine appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to address urgent maintenance requirements and minimise downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work done, parts used, and time spent.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company standards at all times.
Requirements of a Maintenance Technician
- Electrical and / or mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds or NVQ standard
- Completion of a recognised apprenticeship programme.
- Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Effective communication skills to report maintenance updates.

We are seeking to recruit a proven Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician who has experience of supporting plant and equipment within either a manufacturing or production environment.
