Job Description
An opportunity has a risen for an Electrical biased Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Manufacturing organisation who are known worldwide. An opportunity to join an already established maintenance team and to join an organisation that pride themselves on a Friendly working environment. The Maintenance Electrician role is commutable from the following locations: Blackburn / Burnley / Preston.
The Maintenance Electrician will be required to work the following Shift: Days & Twilight. Monday to Thursday 07:30am till 16.15pm – Friday 07.30 – 12.30pm & Monday to Thursday 15.30pm till 23.30pm / Friday 12.00pm till 18.00pm
Benefits the Maintenance Electrician will receive:
- Salary: £42,572.92
- Pension Contribution matched at 5.5% = 11%

Key Requirements for the Maintenance Electrician:
- Apprentice trained – holding a Formal qualification in Electrical engineering.
- Strong Fault-finding abilities.
- Fault finding abilities with Siemens / Allen Bradley PLC’s
- Experience with Servo Drives, AC Drives, CNC Machines, Conventional machines,
- Holding a Slight mechanical ability would be at an advantage.
- Welding skills would be at an advantage.
Key Duties for the Maintenance Electrician:
- Perform Planned and preventative maintenance.
- Fault finding during production on site.
- Support your team and functions throughout the plant.
- Liaise with coordinator to establish requirements.
- Assessing each job and the need for spare parts
- Self-development activities
- Maintain high quality electrical installation, repairs and maintenance to machinery and site.

- We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is used to work within a heavy engineering environment.
- Time served – mechanical engineer.
- At least 2-3 years’ experience within Quality control
Key Duties for the Quality Inspector:
- First point of call for Patrol inspections
- Dealing with all Inspection reports
- Being responsible for the final view / Inspection of completed assemblies
- Handle weights up to 25kg
- Able to use computers for Data purpose
- Support the Quality team – support internal audits

The CNC Machinist /Turners role is commutable from the following locations: Blackburn / Burnley / Preston.
The CNC Machinist / Turner will be required to work the following Shift: Permanent Nights: Monday to Thursday 22:00pm till 07:30am

Key Requirements for the CNC Turners:
- Carry out machining of components
- Set up tools and load materials on to CNC Machines
- Manually handle Weights up to 25kg
- Complete quality documents
- Use inspection equipment to ensure components are manufactured to drawings.
- Contribute to continuous improvements
- Read Engineering Drawings
- Use computer equipment for date purposes.
Experience the CNC Turners will hold.
- Experienced with CNC Controls: Okuma / FANUC / Mazak
- Experience with Loading Lathes / Driven Tool lathes / Horizontal Machines / Vertical machines.
- Prove experience within a CNC Turners position.
- Experienced within a Manufacturing Environment.
- Must be able to setup, operator, and make adjustments to the tools and fixtures offsets on CNC Machines
- Must be Time served – Holding formal qualification
