Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: West Midlands

Salary: £41,000 per annum

Working Hours: Days (Monday – Friday) + Early Friday Finish

Duties of a Maintenance Technician:

  • As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a diverse range of manufacturing plant and equipment. This includes CNC controlled machinery, robotics and a variety of bespoke equipment integral to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimise machinery performance and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support for CNC controlled plant, robotic systems, and bespoke equipment.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements of a Maintenance Technician:  

  • Electrical qualification and proven experience in electrical maintenance.
  • Mechanical competence with a strong understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Familiarity with CNC controlled machinery and robotic systems.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
