Job Description

A Derbyshire based leading manufacturer and innovator in automated food processing equipment, has a great opportunity for a CNC Turner Setter Operator to join their friendly, experience and hardworking team.

Established for more than 20 years, this award-winning organisation, proudly supports customers globally and boasts being the leading, trusted name in the food processing industry. 

CNC Turner Setter Operator Benefits:

  • £16.00 per Hour (depending on experience).
  • Full Time, Monday to Thursday, 07.00–16.30 – Friday, 07.00–11.00
  • Overtime available, daily.
  • Annual Holiday Allowance, 24 Days Annual Leave + Bank holidays 
  • Company Pension

As a CNC Turner Setter Operator you must have previous experience within a similar role and will be fully competent and able to work on their own with minimal supervision.

CNC Turner Setter Operator, Key Roles, Responsibilities & Experiences include: 

  • Set and operate CNC lathe machinery.
  • Programming capabilities, desirable. 
  • Star Sliding Head Lathes, Haas, Fanuc Controls.
  • Read, understand, and interpret engineered drawings.
  • Adjust / replace tooling and associated machine offsets as required.
  • Machine monitoring and maintenance.
  • Performing quality checks.
  • Engineering shop floor inspection equipment.
