You will be joining a well-respected, long-established company, who are experiencing a significant uplift in their orders. They started small, over 50 years ago, and have now grown into rather a large company. They supply into a vast range of different industry sectors, such as nuclear, aerospace, oil and gas and defence to name but a few.
As the Quality Manager you will be responsible for the quality of components and assemblies, ensuring they are meeting the required customer and regulatory requirements.

DUTIES OF QUALITY MANAGER
Day to day quality compliance for all the products produced
Overall responsibility for the Quality Department
Working to ISO9001 / AS9100 standards
Manage the inspection team
“Hands-on” inspection of products
Lead Product Quality Life-Cycle requirements and processes
New Product Introduction, Risk management and Product Change Management
Analysis of quality performance metrics
Investigate non-conformance
Internal and Supplier Audits
REQUIREMENTS OF QUALITY SYSTEMS ENGINEER
HNC / HND or equivalent in Engineering subject
Experience of working in an ISO accredited facility, such as ISO9001 / AS9100
Lean manufacturing experience
Full use of Quality tools, such as SPC, Process Validation, FMEA and FAIR
Internal Auditor training
Understanding of PPAP’s
Ideally, you will have gained your experience from within a highly regulated, precision engineering environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
The role is commutable from Warrington, Ashton-Under-Lyne, Knutsford, Manchester, Stockport, Glossop, Oldham and Macclesfield

Responsibility for all Quality Assurance, Health, Safety and Environmental aspects
Manage ISO9001, ISO 14001 and H&S standarda
Internal and external audits
Management of non-conformance
Manage and investigate work related accidents
Implementation of robust corrective and preventative measures
Chairing QSHE meetings
Risk assessments
Management of occupational health obligations
QHSE training
Management of Covid Return to Work
REQUIREMENTS OF QHSE MANAGER
NEBOSH certificate or equivalent Level 3 NVQ in Health and Safety
Recognised environmental and QA qualifications
Internal auditor training
Full Clean driving license
Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques
You will have gained your experience from within a manufacturing environment
Policy and procedural development
Accident investigation experience
