Shift in place for the Maintenance engineer: Monday to Friday – 6am till 4pm
Key Responsibilities the Maintenance Engineer:
To work as part of the Maintenance team as a mechanically focused technician with some multi-skilled experience. The position will be responsible for providing mechanical expertise, carrying out repairs on plant equipment in a timely and efficient manner and ensuring equipment is safe and fit for purpose. The position holder will be responsible for safety permits where required and to provide first line supervision for all contactor activity.
To provide mechanical support to the maintenance department in order to carry out repairs on all plant equipment.
Ensure all machinery and equipment on site is both mechanically and electrically safe.
Carry out other support maintenance work when required.
Carrying out repairs on the following Kit: Pumps / Conveyor systems / Gearboxes / Hydraulics & Pneumatics.
Ideally holding experience within Chemical or Heavy engineering.
We are looking for an Apprentice trained Maintenance engineer.
Holding a formal qualification in Mechanical engineering.
Flexibility is key – a Motivated individual who is keen to take on over time.

Mechanically bias engineer.
NVQ Level 3 minimum.
Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience.
Heavy engineering background.
Mig and Arc welding.
PLC knowledge would be advantageous.
