This is a new position within the technical department, for a Document Controller, to assist the production of workshop drawings for a prestigious project.
The Document Controller reports to the Technical Manager, the selected candidate is expected to bring document controlling experience, a strong and proven administrator who is able to communicate with stakeholders across the business.
You will be responsible for managing all the documentation generated by the technical department and received from the client/designer.
Document Controller Salary, Hours, and Benefits
- £27,000 - £32,000
- 39 hours per week, 8:30am – 5:00pm, 4:30pm on Friday’s

Document Controller Candidate Requirements
- 2+ years experience in document controlling (contractors).
- Document controlling for all the documentation generated in the technical department, received from client/designer and during the revision/comment’s rounds for the production of workshop drawings.
- Collaborate with members of the team to ensure good quality level of documents and facilitate its management.
- Keep good track of key dates for communications and transmittals.
- Troubleshoot any faults or problems in the document controlling process and identify areas for improvement or training.
- Set and achieve high quality standards in all facets of the production phase.
- Coordinating the project information from the office to the workshop production team.
- UK Driving license.
Qualifications
- A-levels.
- BSc Civil Engineering would be ideal but is not essential.
