A highly reputable busy, fast-paced, multi-site manufacturing organisation, have a requirement for a QUALITY ENGINEER where you could be joining a well-established and friendly team.

As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing process control programs, to ensure finished goods meet customer requirements.

Commutable from Lichfield, Birmingham, Barton Under Needwood, Tamworth, Cannock, Walsall, Atherstone, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Sutton Coldfield, Burton upon Trent and Stone

DUTIES OF QUALITY ENGINEER

  • Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance to QS 9000 / TS16949
  • Problem-solving and corrective actions for customer complaints
  • FMEA’s in conjunction with APQP activities
  • Develop and maintain SPC
  • Customer and Supplier visits
  • Manage process audits
  • Containment issues
  • Support NPI related activities

REQUIREMENTS OF QUALITY ENGINEER

  • It is essential you have Quality Engineering experience from within an manufacturing environment
  • Strong use of Quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, APQP and Control Plans
  • Suppler and Customer liaison experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A results’ orientated approach
  • Energetic and results orientated
