This Division covers all areas from the initial enquires through to design and concept, production, quality and test, through to final delivery or installation. We cover a range of industry such as Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, Pharmaceutical, Consumer Goods, Electronic & Electrical Appliances, Special Purpose Machinery, Marine, Scientific, Oil & Gas, Off Highway/Quarry, Chemical and the Water Industry.

We are offering an exceptional opportunity for a Project Engineer.  

This is a fast paced, busy, dynamic working environment, and would suit an energetic, enthusiastic Project Engineer.  You may be looking to gain more experience in Projects and NPI, or already experienced and looking for a stable, consistent long-term opportunity. You will be responsible for implementing new projects, demonstrating an understanding of all the project phases throughout the Project launch.  You will manage the industrialisation of new equipment and tooling.

Responsibilities for Project Engineer

  • Implement new projects.
  • Support trials.
  • Feasibility analysis
  • Provide assistance to training off Operatives.
  • Support Lean activities.
  • Root cause analysis
  • Support transfer of projects from development phase to production
  • Corrective actions
  • FMEA updates
  • Close out all technical concerns
  • Identify areas of failure
  • Support the development of VSM.

Requirements for a Project Engineer

  • To have experience of working in a volume manufacturing environment
  • NPI knowledge
  • Ideally Apprentice trained.
  • HNC or equivalent experience
  • Experience of continuous improvements, KAIZEN, SMED, TPM, VA/VE
  • This would suit a more Junior Project Engineer, who is looking to gain more knowledge and experience.
  • Or, an experienced Project Engineer, who is looking for a stable, consistent environment.
  • TO have the ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Happy dealing with people at all levels
