Mobility Product Demonstrator Salary and Benefits

  • £30,000 - £35,000 - dependent on experience

Mobility Product Demonstrator Candidate Requirements

  • Previous mobility product experience or similar would be hugely advantageous. 
  • Take a proactive approach to understanding customer needs and delivering the right solution for each customer.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Demonstrate empathy with their customers.
  • Be able to understand the technical aspects of our vehicle adaptations (a level of self-learning is expected in addition to the comprehensive training provided), demonstrate the products effectively and comfortably in a manner that gives the customer the level of confidence they need.
  • Have good IT skills with competency in the MS Office Suite.
  • Be highly organised and self-motivated.
  • Have a clean driving licence.
  • Regular travel and ‘some’ over-night stays are required for this role.

Mobility Product Demonstrator Manager Key Responsibilities

  • The Mobility Product Demonstrator will identify and fully understand the customer needs, whether at their home address, a mobility store or a car dealership.
  • Demonstrate the full range of vehicle adaptations offered by the Company.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and in the required timescales.
  • Attend shows and exhibitions when required. 
  • Demonstrate a technical understanding and ability to learn the technical aspects of each product.
     
 

TOOLMAKER

We are offering an exceptional opportunity for a TOOLMAKER

This is a super opportunity for  an  experienced Toolmaker to join a busy manufacturing organisation who have a significant uplift  in work, creating the need for an additional Toolmaker in the Toolroom.

We have our own design facility on site.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing press tools to support our production operations. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a range of engineering tools and materials.

Working days with an early finish on Friday, plus paid Overtime available, this  is a great opportunity to  be part of  a growing success story.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manufacture, assemble, maintain, and repair press tools, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Operate manual machinery, including milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, and EDM machines.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings
  • Conduct tool trials, identify issues, and implement modifications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot tooling issues in collaboration with the production team.
  • Work with a variety of materials, including steel and aluminum, 
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to improve tooling efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of tooling modifications and repairs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Apprentice trained ideally or equivalent
  • Experience with Press tools, preferably progression
  • Proficiency in using various machining tools including mills, lathes and grinders
  • Happy to  work days

The Continuous Improvement Engineer will play a key part in improving and maintaining the company manufacturing processes, making them safer, more efficient, and consistent. Whether it’s rolling out new systems, supporting product launches, or driving continuous improvement, you’ll be the go-to person for process excellence.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement Engineer role or similar
  • Experience within a pressing, sheet metal or fabrication environment would be advantageous
  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Can-do attitude, flexibility and adaptability
  • Solid understanding of Lean tools and ISO 9001 quality standards
  • Confident using CAD and reading technical drawings

As production technician you will be hands-on with the machinery, spotting faults and preventing downtime. You will start on a salary of £33,773 for the first 12 weeks of training, this rise will to £37,500 and then after 6-12 months will rise to £41,200.

Toolmaker Hours, Pay and Benefits

  • Salary £40,000 (including shift allowance)
  • Working hours. There are two options: 10:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday or 2:00pm -10:00pm Monday to Friday
  • 25 days holiday, plus statutory
  • Sick pay based on length of service, up to 24 weeks

Toolmaker Role Purpose 

The Toolmaker will repair and service the moulding machine tools, and related equipment, in a timely and efficient manner.

Candidate Requirements

  • Time served toolmaker – for insurance purposes, Apprenticeship / Qualifications have to be from the UK
  • Proven Injection Mould / Plastics experience. 
  • Electrical experience is an advantage but not a necessity.
  • Experienced in the operation of toolmaking equipment, eg grinders, lathes, machining.
  • CNC Machining centre experience an advantage.
  • A base understanding on pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings.
  • Computer literate.

Toolmaker Key Responsibilities

  • Build, repair and maintain tooling
  • Work to fine tolerances
  • Prove tooling and troubleshoot until running acceptably - target to enable the tools to run "right first-time" in a production environment
  • Able to understand technical drawings
  • Liaise with operational staff to understand tooling related issues
  • Maintenance of machinery on site
  • General tool making tasks
  • To be flexible in a “breakdown” scenario
