Shifts:  Double Days – 6am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm – Monday to Friday 

Responsibilities & Requirements: 

1. Reacting to breakdowns mechanical and electrical
2. Looking for Multi-skilled Split – Mechanically biased – Roughly 60/40 Split. 
3. Experienced with: Hydraulics & Pneumatics / Gearboxes / Conveyor systems and Lifting equipment. 
4. Electrical requirements: Fault finding abilities with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC’s, Motors, and Drives – AC & DC – Able to read electrical and mechanical drawings. 
5. Ideally you will hold experience within a Heavy Engineering Plant – Manufacturing Plant. 
6. Keeping accurate records of activities and stores requisitions
7. Completing planned maintenance activities and installations
8. Supporting business projects when required
9. Attending meetings when require
10. Must be Apprentice trained. 
11. Ideally holding a BTEC – ONC / HNC / NVQ Leve 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering

Duties of an Maintenance Technician 

• As a proven Maintenance Technician you will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, that will see you supporting production plant and equipment. 

Requirements of an Maintenance Technician

• Ideally you will be apprentice trained but must be qualified Electrically and have some understanding of Plc Controls, allied to have previous experience of supporting plant and equipment within a manufacturing or production environment.

• Organise and control weekend work on a rota basis.
• The ideal candidate will be Apprentice trained, holding a HNC / City & Guilds in Electrical / Electronic engineering.
