  • Improving factory OEE through development and innovation of the production facility.

An established global brand is seeking to recruit a Payroll Specialist. Reporting to the UK Payroll Manager you the Payroll Specialist will is responsible for supporting and providing a full in-house managed payroll service for all UK sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

The key responsibilities are:-

  • Process monthly payroll for multi-site payrolls including pensions, benefits, PAYE, NI, court orders - payroll size approximately 1,000 employees
  • In-line with the payroll calendar and payroll procedures, input in an accurate and timely manner all required payroll elements (basic pay, tax, national insurance, pension, BACS and such) for all new hires, transfers, promotions and terminations
  • Maintain payroll system wage types and records to support the business and legal requirements - wages, benefits, sickness, vacation plus all contractual requirements
  • Support process improvements, identify and assist implementation of efficiencies, system integration and elimination of duplicate data handling
  • Complete Year End data in line with HMRC guidelines - includes P60’s, P11d’s and all other requirements as directed by HMRC and UK authorities

This is an opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join an existing maintenance team within a light press industry setting to undertake preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of machinery.

Duties:

  • Attend breakdowns as requested, assess cause, strip down and determine best method of repair and affect repair.
  • Able to read electrical, British and European standard drawings.
  • Install replacement components or carry out repairs using necessary equipment.
  • Reassemble, check and test run all equipment for effective and safe operation following repair and return to Production.
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance checks to a pre-determined schedule (Pemac 5) and reporting on Pemac work order.  Assess requirements for repair/replacement parts and, in conjunction with Management, determine the best time for repairs to be carried out
  • Attend to equipment faults in response to requests from Management as a result of machinery malfunctioning and carry our adjustments and/or repairs as necessary. Complete required documentation i.e. Pemac work orders or time sheets
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits to electrical engineering drawings, equipment and fixtures using multi meter.

Requirements:

  • Skill requirements will be to assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures and P.L.C.’s, P.C.’s and robots (A.B.B.) using hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments.
  • This Maintenance Electricians role will require you to have basic mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic knowledge and be trained to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
