Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Day Shift Only – We Like Our Sleep)

Are you tired of soulless workplaces where the drinks machine is terrible and the equipment is all the same.

Good news – were not that kind of company. Were a long established engineering powerhouse with a solid track record of keeping the lights on and machines humming, mostly thanks to our amazing maintenance team, that could include you…

We offer low staff turnover and a secure, drama free workplace that won’t spontaneously combust or lay everyone off overnight. So, if your electrically biased and slightly obsessed with fault finding plant and equipment within a heavy engineering, manufacturing or production environment, read on.

What You’ll Be Doing as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Besides Looking Heroic with a Multimeter):

  • Tackling planned and reactive maintenance tasks like a seasoned pro (or at least pretending you weren’t surprised).
  • Playing technical hide and seek with electrical faults, motors, drives, and the occasional grumpy Plc.
  • Keeping our plant and equipment in tip top shape so everything doesn’t go pop.
  • Providing invaluable support while occasionally using tools as makeshift coffee cup holders.

What’s In It For You (The Good Stuff):

  • Salary: Around £36,000 – enough to fund your snack drawer.
  • Paid Overtime like it should be – at premium rates.
  • Company Pension – because Future You deserves nice things.
  • Onsite Parking – no more playing ‘Hunger Games: Parking Edition.’
  • Days Only – keep your circadian rhythm intact.
  • Variety – work with all sorts of tech without getting bored.

What We Need From You as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Electrical qualifications: City & Guilds, or NVQ – basically, proof you know which end of the wire not to touch.
  • Preferably apprentice trained, but we won’t grill you.
  • Multi-skilled? Even better – the more tools in your belt (literally or metaphorically), the better.
  • Experience in heavy engineering, manufacturing, production or process environments – i.e., you know what a factory sounds like.Problem solving skills – not just "turn it off and on again" (though let’s be honest, that works a lot).

Where to Find Us:
