Design / Programmer Engineer (Alphacam)

We have a great opportunity for a Design Engineer with CNC experience or a CNC Programmer who has recently moved into a Design position.

I am working with a company that create and build products on a bespoke basis for their customers and they are often requested to produce something that would challenge their competitors.

Their Design and Development Team is closely linked to the companies in-house CNC Machinery and the position will offer the link between 3D Modelling and New Product Development into the CNC process via Alphacam.

However duties will also include some aspects of design and redesign so that effective production can be achieved.

I am seeking a candidate with at least 18 months recent experience using Alphacam, within a Design for Manufacture environment. The right candidate will also have 2D & 3D CAD experience.
